Тема: «Around Great Britain and Ukraine»

Урок 1-2


Мета: ознайомити з новим ЛО. Продовжувати формувати навички аудіювання. Удосконалювати техніку читання. Розвивати навички монологічного й діалогічного мовлення. Розвивати ерудицію учнів. Виховувати повагу до культур інших країн.

Обладнання: Підручник, таблиці, опорний конспект, картки для самостійної роботи, інтерактивна дошка.

Хід уроку

Aim 2. Повідомлення теми та мети уроку.

T. Today we are going to speak about Great Britain, the country where English is the official language. And we`ll start with grammar revision and practice in using Past Simple.

Warming up 3. Уведення в іншомовну атмосферу. Учні слухають пісню «Irregular Verbs» та виконують завдання на картах. По закінченні роботи вони ланцюжком читають запововнену таблицю з неправильними дієсловами.

Great Britain

The United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland is situated in Europe. On the British Isles. It is an island coutry. About 56 million people live in the UK.

People call the country Great Britein for short because it is the name of the biggest island. There are also about 2,000smaller islands.

There are four countries in the UK – England,Scotland, Wale and Northern Ireland.

People who live in Great Britain are Britains. They are English. They all speak English, the official language of the country.

The United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland is the country of long history and many interesting traditions.
